Juha Rantasalo Retires after record breaking 47 years long career at Lapua Chains

After the long career Juha got retired this last summer. He started already 1974 and came to us directly from school. He has been trying many different tasks here, but already in the 80´s he found his calling for grinding! The work got easier when in the 90`s an automatic CNC-grinding machine was acquired.

The biggest change in Juhas working career came 2002 when the Lapua cartridge factory sold the chain factory to the present owners and Lapua Chains was founded. The reason for staying 47 years is that he has liked the work and the workmates.

As retired Juha plans many long and lazy fishing trips and on warm summer days he is sometimes seen driving his Suzuki Intruder. He wishes all friends at work the best and many happy days.
