Lapua Chains strengthens its export team – Janne Lager has started as a key account manager

A new key account manager, Janne Lager, has joined the export team with the task of increasing the share of exports and strengthening the company’s position in international markets. Janne is exceptionally well-qualified for this role, having worked in various sales and marketing positions since the 1990s. He is also familiar with export duties, as he previously served as an export manager in the manufacturing industry. In addition, his transition into the chain manufacturing sector brings both Janne and the company new perspectives and experience.

Janne’s interest in the career opportunities offered by Lapua Chains was sparked when our company acquired the Swedish company Erasmis AB in October as part of our strategic growth plan. After reading about the acquisition, Janne decided to reach out, which marked the beginning of his journey into Lapua Chains' export team.

In his spare time, Janne is an active sports enthusiast, enjoying activities such as running, cycling, golf, and skiing. Music and playing the guitar are also important hobbies for him. All these activities provide a nice balance alongside work and suit his social personality well.

“Lapua Chains is a well-known brand domestically, and the products are appreciated for their high quality, which is also important for exports,” Janne commented. The long history, quality reputation, and the locally well-known employer were key factors in Janne’s decision to join the chain manufacturing team.
